Photo Shoot with Baby Weston

We don't hear from Tori and Bobby Smith very often. They are busy living life with five children. Their youngest, Weston Slade Smith, arrived on May 29th, and Bates family photographer Lydia Bates took his newborn pictures. She and Trace recorded the session on video and uploaded the footage to their YouTube account so fans can see how much the Smith children have grown.

Welcome Baby Weston

Tori and Bobby Smith welcomed their fifth child! Weston Slade Smith was born May 29, 2024, weighing 6 lbs 9 oz. Weston joins four older siblings--Kade Smith (five), Kolter Smith (four), Charlotte Smith (three in June), and Cambree Smith (two in August).

Bates Visit Nashville

You’re going to really enjoy Lawson and Tiffany Bates’ most recent YouTube video. A group of family members travels to Nashville for a visit, and everyone stays at Lawson and Tiffany's house. Among the visitors are Gil and Kelly Bates, Callie Bates, Tori and Bobby Smith, Erin and Chad Paine with baby William, and Nathan and Esther Bates with Kenna.

Lawson and Tiffany babysit Kenna while the rest of the family goes out. Later, Chad gives Gil a haircut, Bobby cooks breakfast, and then everyone goes to a Southern gospel concert.

 

Smiths Celebrate 4 Years

December is a popular time to get married if you're a member of the Bates family! Including Katie and Travis, there are now four Bates couples with December anniversaries. Today is Tori and Bobby's big day. Happy four-year to the Smiths!

Three of the Bates couples are expecting babies due in June (Zach and Whitney Bates, Josie and Kelton Balka, and Tori and Bobby Smith). We already know that the Smiths are having a girl named Charlotte Raine Smith, and Zach and Whitney will welcome a boy named Jayden Carl Bates. But will little Willow Balka have a brother or sister? Josie and Kelton just announced, and...

It's a girl! Her name will be Hazel Sloane Balka. Josie is 21 weeks pregnant and just had her anatomy scan.

Gender Reveal: It's a Tie!

Zach and Whitney Bates just announced the gender of their 4th baby, due in June. We'll give you a hint: Their little family of six is now tied up, and Bradley is thrilled. That's right, it's a boy! His name will be Jayden Carl Bates. Visit the UPtv website to see Zach and Whitney's gender announcement photo. 

Of the three Bates grandchildren due in June, we still have yet to hear a gender announcement from Josie and Kelton Balka. Tori and Bobby Smith revealed their pregnancy and the baby's gender and name all at once last week. 

For fun, here is the photo that Zach and Whitney had taken when Bradley and Kaci came to visit Khloe at the hospital in November 2019. Khloe and her little brother will be just one year and seven months apart.

Tori and Bobby's 3rd Baby Announcement

Have you heard the exciting news? Tori and Bobby Smith are expecting a baby! This little one will be their 3rd child and Gil and Kelly Bates' 18th grandchild. Charlotte Raine Smith is due in June 2021. She will be joined by two other Bates cousins also due in June, whose genders have not yet been shared. Zach and Whitney Celebrate 7 Years

December is a big month for the Bates family, especially for a few of its members. Zach and Whitney Bates, Tori and Bobby Smith, and Gil and Kelly Bates all celebrate their anniversaries. Zach and Tori also have birthdays, and Gil's birthday is New Year's Day. Happy 7th wedding anniversary to Zach and Whitney!

Almost three years ago, Tori and Bobby Smith found out they were expecting their first child, who would be named Kade Smith. In this throwback scene from Bringing Up Bates, the newly expectant Tori shares how unprepared she is when it comes to pregnancy. Thankfully, she has her mom and older sisters to tell her all the things. 

Meanwhile, Carlin, Josie, and Katie (ages 19, 18, and 17) discuss motherhood as if it's light-years away. Now, only three years later, two of them are mommies and one is in a serious relationship. Things sure do change quickly!

3 Bates Anniversaries

Mid-December is a busy time for the Bates family. In less than one week, three of the couples have anniversaries. Rather than bombard you with three separate posts, we decided to do a joint one. Zach and Whitney Bates celebrated six years on December 14, Tori and Bobby Smith celebrated two years on December 16, and Gil and Kelly Bates are celebrating 32 years today. Kade Turns 9 Months Old

Robert "Kade" Ellis Smith IV, is nine months old today. Smiley Baby Kade
