Erin Transferred to a New Hospital

Erin Paine is still in recovery and was transferred to another hospital. Chad says Erin’s care team is working hard to help her improve and that the nurses have become like family to them. It has been 16 days since Henry Paine was born, and Erin and Chad miss their six other children tremendously. They say they are so grateful for the prayers and support they have received.

  2. You say "another hospital" but you don't explain what. Is this a step up in care or a step down?

  3. Continued prayers for this family. May they reunite soon.

  4. Maybe she has been transferred to Shands/University of Florida in Gainesville? She doesn't seem to be "better" to be released to a rehab. I hope she makes a full recovery, somehow.

    1. I don't think we should speculate about where she was transferred to or why. I'm sure the new hospital is better able to treat her thanb the previous one.

  5. 16 days is a long time to be in hospital. I'm sure their other children are very worried and need lots of reassurance.

  9. Probably a rehab hospital. I know someone who spent 67 days in a rehab hospital after sepsis. It was a long and miserable recovery. It doesn't heal in just a few days, unfortunately.
