Erin Paine's Homeschool Curriculum

Erin Paine considers it a privilege to be able to homeschool her children. She truly enjoys teaching them, and it is not something that she takes for granted. She has seven children, four of whom are in first grade and above. She just uploaded a YouTube video that shares what a typical school day looks like for the Paines and gives a glimpse at the curriculum that they are currently using. 

Erin Paine on Visiting Family, Marriage, etc

Erin Paine took to YouTube this week to answer questions from followers. She shares how often she and Chad and their seven kids visit the Bate family in Tennessee and mentions that one of her brothers is getting married in May. She also chats about keeping the spark alive in marriage and offers some of her favorite ways to stay healthy.  

Erin’s First Steps

As most of you know, Erin Paine has not had function in her right leg since the seizure she experienced while in the hospital. She has been home for a couple weeks and has worked with physical therapists, but the problem has continued to persist. Then yesterday, she was suddenly able to move her leg and take some wobbly steps. Praise God for his healing work over Erin!

Henry Paine is one week old and is doing well in the NICU. Erin is also still in the hospital, in the ICU, after going into septic shock from a severe UTI and kidney infection. Please continue praying for Erin and Henry, as well as for Chad and their kids at home.  

Update on September 4th: After her infection improved some, Erin had a severe seizure and is now very weak. Please continue to pray for healing and for wisdom for her doctors as they run tests and search for answers. 

A Chat with Mama Jane Bates

The Bates absolutely adore Gil's parents--Papa Bill and Mama Jane. They were featured on various episodes of Bringing Up Bates, but it's time to get to know them even better. Erin Paine recently sat down for a chat with Mama Jane, who is now the full-time caretaker for Papa Bill, and uploaded the conversation to YouTube.
