  11. A real curiosity here: Will someone please explain what the obsession is with placing an elastic bow on the heads of newborn girls and seemingly wearing them throughout their "little girlhood"? A pediatrician once told me that placing elastic headgear on a baby or little child's head is not good for a newly formed cranium. We all know they're female and don't mistake them for boys. So, what gives? thank you so much.

    2. I had all girls and my pediatrician never said not to put elastic headgear on them. It's just really cute to dress up our babies. That is an interesting point though Anon@ 8:02.
