First Snow in TN

Zach Bates, Whitney Bates, and Bradley Bates

Did you wake up to snow? The Bates family (and many other folks in the mid-South) did! It's below freezing, but Zach, Whitney, and Bradley didn't let a little cold weather stop them from enjoying the great outdoors.

For those who have wondered how Whitney stays so fit, she strives to drink 6-8 bottles of water each day, eat a good breakfast, minimize carbs, and work out a few times a week (even if its an at-home workout). She also tries to avoid eating after 6pm.

    3. Can we please not post comments that involve correcting other people's grammar. It's petty and rude.

    5. People need to proof their comments before posting. Some are extremely awkward to read and a quick proofing would spare the readers trying to figure out what's being said.

  3. We woke up to a temp of 14 below zero this morning! That's not out of the ordinary for us in these parts this time of year.

  6. Lovely snow! Is Whitney allowed to wear jeans in front of her in-laws? I would hope so, nothing wrong with them.

  9. In a earlier post Whitney said she wears Jean's when she is not around the Bates family. Otherwise she is in a skirt.

  10. Thank you for addressing how Whitney stays looking fabulous. I'm a mom of 4 and having a tough time getting back in shape. Seeing success stories gives me encouragement to keep going and not give up. Keep up the great work Whitney!!

  13. Do you know if Whitney dyes her hair? when she was pregnant with Bradley and when they first got married it was a dark brown and no it is a dirty blonde

    1. Yes. I went to school with Whitney from elementary school on. She naturally has an extremely dark brown color.

    2. What alternatives are there to the phrase "dirty blonde"? It sounds kind of insulting.

    3. I think we call it coloring our hair instead of dying it now. Most of the Bates girls color or highlight their hair. I'm sure Kelly Jo does as well. She's 50 so upkeep is now necessary.
