Doggy Dilemmas Photos and Video

The fourth episode of Bringing Up Bates season five is coming your way tomorrow. Kicking off at 9pm ET/8pm CT on UP, this half-hour segment will check in with Michaela and Brandon Keilen in Chicago. The Keilens have been married almost a year and a half and share the fertility struggles they have been having as they seek to start a family.

Later, Erin and Chad Paine invite some of the Bates siblings over to help them train their puppy, Max, and the Bates family starts working on the new basketball court. Lawson Bates and music friend Emily Ann Roberts pay a visit to the East Tennessee Children's Hospital to spread joy to the patients. Scroll down to see snapshots from the episode and a video preview.

    4. I'm not the original poster and I have no idea wether she's engaged or not, but Tabitha is Chad's (Erin's husband) sister who works as a private tutor for Bates family friends the Duggars.

    1. Hi Aubri,

Nope, tonight's episode does not include any of Lawson's shows. He visits the children's hospital and talks about preparing for his shows, but that's it. :)

  4. It's very surprising that two of the older girls right now have had some fertility issues, but mom can get pregnant from just hiccuping!!! It's very interesting for sure. The Duggars clearly have not had fertility issues so it's interesting to see two large families and one has issues and the other does not (as of yet), and both the moms are extremely fertile!!!

    1. You just never know 2:02. I'm an identical twin. We were due with our babies 3 out of 4 times within weeks of each other. She never had a complication..thankfully...I had a miscarriage and 2 stillborn babies. Why??? We are identical. So my point I guess is we are all..even twins... uniquely made, and will travel this side of Heaven with our own individual trials and tribulations.

    2. I'm pretty sure the gene that causes the issues is from Gil's side of the family. His sister does not have kids. That could have been a personal decision or that could have been fertility issues as she seems to go crazy over her nieces and nephews.

    3. Infertility is not genetic. Lol.

    4. Infertility can absolutely be genetic. MTHFR gene deficiencies cause infertility and is inheritable.. this is because if your mthfr gene is defective your body can't absorb folic acid which is crucial for a developing baby

  5. I hope these two women aren't made to feel that they are less or have sinned in some way that God is punishing them from conceiving. There is SO MUCH MORE to life than having babies one after the other. I hope the parents of these young couples don't inflict guilt or pressure on them.
