Gender Reveal for Baby Paine #7

Erin and Chad Paine announced about a month ago that they are expecting their seventh child. Now it's time for them to announce the gender of the baby, who will join their family this summer. As most of you know, the Paines have four daughters (Brooklyn Paine, Everly Paine, Holland Paine, and Finley Paine) and two sons (Charles Paine and William Paine). If you notice, we wrote Charles and not Carson. That is because the eldest Paine child, who was known as Carson until recently, made the decision to be called by his given name, which is Charles. 

We won't spoil the news here, but you can head over to Erin and Chad's YouTube channel to watch them share the gender with their kids.

Erin and Chad Paine are expecting something that was completely unexpected. Erin is due with Baby #5 in January 2022! Back in February, the mom of four told fans about the surgeries she had had to remove one ovary and most of the second. At that point, she and Chad thought it would not be possible to become pregnant again. 

For that reason, we know you will be rejoining along with Erin and Chad at the news of this little one. The happy couple just uploaded a YouTube video sharing their story (link below).

Brooklyn Turns 5

It's barely a week into August, and the Bates have already celebrated three birthdays. Today's birthday is the last for 18 days, and then there are two more before the beginning of September. Wishing Brooklyn Paine a blessed 5th birthday!

Everly Turns 3

Happy 3rd birthday to Everly! She is the eighth Bates grandchild and No. 3 in Erin and Chad's lineup. She is also the third Bates grandbaby to have a birthday in the past week.

7th Bates Grandchild Turns 3

Happy 3rd birthday to Zoey! She is the third of the four Webster daughters and the seventh of Gil and Kelly Bates' 15 (soon to be 18) grandchildren. We are including a photo of Zoey and Everly as infants because Everly will celebrate her third birthday in just two days. It's sweet that both cousins have middle names that are blessings that come from walking with God: God gives us hope (Everly Hope) and joy (Zoey Joy).

We have some sad news, friends. Next Thursday is the season nine finale of Bringing Up Bates. We know that's not the happiest way to start your weekend, but we thought you ought to know. 

In this episode, it's Father's Day, and the Bates are honoring their dads. Erin leads her kids in decorating bird houses and asks them to share their favorite things about Chad (adorable video below).

Erin Turns 29

Happy 29th birthday to Erin Paine! She is the third oldest of the 19 Bates siblings. When Erin was born, Zach was almost two-and-a-half, and Michael was 15 months old. Fourteen months later, Lawson arrived, and 13 months after that, Nathan came into the picture. That gave Gil and Kelly Bates five children well under the age of five. (Anyone else ever found themselves in that situation?) Now, Erin and Chad have four little ones of their own, and their oldest will turn five in 12 days.

Erin and Her 4 Babies

2020 is the year when Carson turns five, Brooklyn turns four, Everly turns two, and Holland turns one, but until those birthdays, Erin and Chad can say they have four children ages four and under. Gil and Kelly Bates were in a similar situation back in 1992, when Lawson's arrival meant they had four children under age four. (Zach was three-and-a-half when Lawson was born.)

New Family Photos

This holiday season, you can probably guess what the Bates are thankful for. Their newest additions, Khloe Bates (born November 7) and Holland Paine (born November 26) are approaching their first Christmas. We just love the family photos that Taryn Yager took for the Paines and the little Bates.

4 Kids in Less Than 5 Years

Taryn Yager, the Bates' photographer friend, delivered her fourth son on November 21st, just five days before Erin and Chad welcomed Holland, but she has been sweet enough to take newborn photos for the Paines (picture above).
