Whitney Turns 28

Happy birthday to Whitney Bates! Not only is she a mom of four young children, including three-month-old Jadon, but she also works hard at the Bates Sisters Boutique. And she and Zach are in the midst of a major renovation project at their new house.

Do you remember the post we made back in December 2017, with the news that Zach and Whitney Bates had purchased their first house? A few months later, fans watched them do a complete renovation on Bringing Up Bates. 

Now almost four years later, Zach and Whitney are moving on. After closing on a house that sits on 17.5 acres, they have spent the past several weeks on this fixer upper project, with lots of help from family members.

Zach and Whitney Bates just announced some exciting news. They are expecting their 4th child! Baby Bates is due in June 2021. They don't yet know the gender, but the couple says that Bradley and Kaci are eager to find out. Both Zach and Whitney contracted the virus from Zach's workplace, but they recovered and are monitoring the baby to make sure everything continues to look good. Bates Grandchild #11 Turns 1

Happy 1st birthday to Khloe Bates! She is the second of the four Bates granddaughters born in a seven-month period (Willow Balka in July, Holland Paine on November 26th, and Layla Stewart in January).

The November Bates Babies

Khloe and Holland, both born in November 2019, are now over six months old. In fact, Khloe just turned seven months old, and Holland will follow on June 26. These two sweet little girls are nice and chunky.

Khloe and Holland: 5 Months

Lawson Returns from the Philippines

The fourth-oldest bates sibling has just returned home from a three-month stay in the Philippines. He departed right before Thanksgiving and only planned to stay a week, but the medical case of a young girl for whom he was advocating kept him away for much longer. He met the girl while on a previous disaster relief trip and, in just a few months, will return to the Philippines with a doctor to accompany her and her mother back to the United States so she can receive a life-saving surgery.

Lawson left soon after Khloe Bates' birth but missed the arrivals of Holland Paine and Layla Stewart.

Khloe Bats is 18 days old! As you can imagine, Zach and Whitney Bates and the rest of the Bates clan are enjoying all the newborn snuggles. Erin Paine is due with Holland Grace Paine in December, She delivered early with all three of her other babies, so it won't be long before you'll be reading another birth announcement.
