Websters Leave YouTube

Alyssa and John Webster have been creating content on YouTube for almost six years. They have enjoyed giving fans a glimpse into their lives, including birthdays, the arrival of new babies, house projects, travel, and just basic everyday life. However, they just uploaded a "Goodbye" video and have announced that they are stepping away from YouTube. The Websters explain that as their kids get older, they want to give them more privacy. They also mention that now that their children are able to read, the negative comments are much more concerning to them. They might still upload videos of big moments but will no longer be sharing regular videos.

It's hard to believe that it has been more than three years since the premiere date of the last-ever episode of Bringing Up Bates, which was followed by the announcement in January 2022 that the series was canceled. Do you remember the interview portion of the show? Alyssa and John Webster sat their three older girls down for an interview that really brings us back to their reality TV show days. Websters' Christmas with Kelly

It has been a while since we've posted an update on Alyssa and John Webster and their family of seven. They were unable to attend Bates family Christmas in Tennessee, so Kelly traveled down to Florida to bring Christmas to them. She spent time with the Websters, the Paines, and Jackson and Emerson Bates. Alyssa and John uploaded a video to YouTube, as did Erin and Chad Paine. Kelly's time with the Paines celebrating Christmas ended up being a double blessing, as she was able to help out after Erin had broken her arm.

Webster Reveal Baby's Boy Name

Alyssa and John Webster just revealed the name they chose for their first son. Rhett Alan Webster will join sisters Allie Jane, Lexi Mae, Zoey Joy, and Maci Jo in the next couple months. The expectant parents revealed their newly decorated nursery in their most recent YouTube video.

Maci Turns 1

Today is Maci Webster's first birthday. Maci is the 15th Bates grandchild and the 4th of Alyssa and John Webster's four daughters. Happy birthday, Maci!

Lexi Turns 5

Happy 5th birthday to Lexi Mae Webster! Lexi is Alyssa and John Webster's 2nd daughter, and she is Gil and Kelly Bates' 6th grandchild.

Celebrating Alyssa and Kade

Today is the fifth and final "double Bates birthday" of the year. That's right, the Bates have five shared birthdays annually. That means that about 20 percent of the Bates family members have a birthday buddy. Talk about low odds! So who are they celebrating today? Alyssa Webster is turning 27, and Kade Smith is turning three. Happy birthday to Alyssa and Kade!

Webster Girl Squad

It has been a while since we've shared a new photo of Alyssa and John Webster's girl squad. Allie turned six in April, Lexi is four-and-a-half, Zoey turned three in March, and Maci is five months. We just can't get over their matching dresses!

Have you heard about Alyssa and John Webster's new house? They got a great deal, but the catch is that it is a major fixer upper. For many people, that would mean months of work, but when you have a super-sized family with tons of talent, things happen very quickly. And it helps that they live in beautiful Florida, so anyone who comes down to assist can also have a mini vacation.

This week on a new episode of Bringing Up Bates, Alyssa and John Webster are preparing for Maci Jo Webster, who will soon arrive and make them a family of six. They admit that even after having three children, they are still struggling to prepare all all the baby items (video below).

A Pool for the Websters

Alyssa and John Webster just moved into a new house, after working tirelessly to fixed it up themselves, with help from some of the Bates. After renting a three-bedroom, single-story home for the first seven years of their marriage, the family of six now has tons of room to spread out. 

They have two bedrooms for the girls, a separate school room, a guest room, and even a pool. If you've ever been to the Orlando, Florida, area in summer, you know that this pool is going to bring the Websters great relief amidst the heat. Alyssa also uploaded a house tour video to YouTube. They are still unpacking and adding finishing touches, but it's looking great.

4 Webster Sisters

Maci Jo Webster is six days old. Although they aren't the first family in the Bates clan to have four children, Alyssa and John Webster are the first to have four kids of the same gender. Four beautiful girls! For those asking if Maci will be their last baby, Alyssa has said in the past that that is a very real possibility.

'Tis the season for Christmas tree farms! Alyssa and John Webster have the annual tradition of choosing a Christmas tree for their living room with the girls. A Name for Baby Webster

In early August, Alyssa and John Webster shared their baby news, and a week ago, they announced the child's gender. This week, the big news is that they have chosen a name. What will they call their fourth daughter? Maci Jo Webster. 

You can probably figure out that the middle name is after Alyssa's mom, Kelly Jo Bates, and grandmother, Betty Jo, so it's a multi-generational name. The Websters now have Allie Jane, Lexi Mae, Zoey Joy, and Maci Jo. Do you see a theme? The link to their announcement video is below.

Josie's Miscarriage

Last month, Alyssa and John Webster shared the news of their fourth baby with the world, but they weren't the only Bates couple that was expecting. At Willow Balka's 1st birthday party, Josie and Kelton Balka had made a big reveal to the family: Josie was pregnant with Baby Balka #2. Sadly, Josie ended up miscarrying their little one, who would have been due in March 2021. We know the Balkas would appreciate your prayers during this difficult time.

Bates Family Beach Vacation 2020

It's no secret that the Bates family loves the beach. If you have followed our blog for a while, you have seen plenty of photos of their past beach trips, including some that they took before the start of their reality TV show.

This week, some of the Bates are in Cape San Blas, located on the Florida Panhandle. Cape San Blas is a favorite place for the Bates, and they have been several times. At one point, they visited four years in a row. They also went in the episode "Beaches, Boats and Bates," which aired in March 2016.

Spring in Florida

It has only been a few weeks since the official start of spring, but the weather in Florida is beginning to look like summer. In the Orlando area, the Websters are already seeing temperatures in the high 80s and low 90s.

All three of the girls' birthdays are in the early months of the year. Lexi recently turned three, Zoey just turned two, and Allie will celebrate her fifth birthday on April 11th.

Lexi Webster celebrated her third birthday a bit early. Her actual birthday is on January 26th, but her parents hosted a party ahead of schedule. The theme was PJ Masks, an animated children's TV show that all three Webster girls love. The get-together was organized by Alyssa, party planning extraordinaire, and featured festive decorations and a homemade, three layer cake.

Cruising Websters

Bahamas cruise December 2019

You may remember our October 2017 post about Alyssa and John Webster’s Royal Caribbean cruise to the Bahamas. At that point, Alyssa was pregnant with Zoey but was still a few weeks away from announcing to the world.

Yesterday, the Webster duo embarked on another cruise to the Bahamas, this time to celebrate John's 30th birthday, which was on November 21st. They are with other couples from John’s side of the family.
