  1. Where Whitney's adoptive parents also invited to this vow renewal? I would hope so since they paid for the first/original wedding and stepped in, adopted her as their own and raised her.
Not trying to pry into her personal history, but I would think she should show this couple some respect for what they did for her.

    1. I guess we'll just have to see tomorrow. 😄

    2. I agree. In family pics etc she only talks about her biological family now which would be heartbreaking for her adopted family

    3. 2:34- But you are prying and those family relationships are personal and private, unless Whitney chooses to share the particulars.

  2. Hi Ellie. Do you know when the new season will be on Amazon Prime? I cant watch the show anymore because my cable network discontinued UpTv.

    1. Hi msshygirl101 leo,

The episodes are usually available for purchase on Amazon and iTunes soon after they air on TV.

      Happy watching!

  5. Don't make judgements... especially when you don't even have all of the facts. This is nobody's business but their family's.

  6. I wish UP would show there episodes closer to the actual events happening, it would be more fun if it didn't happen months ago

  7. I know I’m going to get flak for this and that’s ok, sometimes a person gets persecuted for standing up for the right but...Sorry, I would’ve been so terribly embarrassed to wear a immodest dress like that in front of the Bates family. She was just showing off what she has and like my dad would always tell me about married ladies “we are not for purchase” , “why do we have to show off like we’re merchandise?” I know Zack would not invite purchasers for his wife so I’m very shocked he wanted her to wear a dress like that and supported it. That’s for his very eyes only. But sadly I’m sure all the men’s eyes there that day were focused on her body. I know my husband would never give support to a dress like that for me. I’m pleased to be his only and not to be eyed by other men. It just looked like more of a show and tell than a Christ centered-giving Christ the attention wedding renewal service to us.

    1. 12:23. No woman is “for purchase” married or not.

    2. Modesty means different things to different people. Also, modesty shouldn't be about anyone else, it should be about your own self respect.

    3. I guess you didn't watch the wedding vow renewal dress episode, because Zach said he approved of the dress, and loved it. Besides, I don't really see how it's revealing.

    4. I don't think she was showing off. She seems really sweet, humble, honest, and sincere. I was just talking about it with someone and we both agreed that Whitney was very humble and honest about her former relationship with her parents. She wanted to make it right, and wasn't ashamed to make her forgiveness public. I'm proud of Whitney. She is humble.

    5. I would hope men would know that a woman on her wedding day, or during her vow renewal, is not "for purchase." Whitney has shown her love for and commitment to Zach over the course of the show and any other insinuation is shameful.
Men's thoughts are under their own control. You can wear a dress that reaches the floor with long sleeves and still be eyed by someone.

    6. I have to say, the dress was beautiful but very "showy" compared to typical Bates standards. To the Bates family, she probably almost seemed naked, to them. The bridesmaid dresses, I noticed, were in typical Bates modesty fashion. I was surprised myself because when she first married Zach, Whitney dressed like the Bates. Since having two children and returning to the workforce, I've noticed a shift in her clothing choices. Not to say she is immodest, but compared to Bates standards and how she was as a newlywed, Whitney has definitly been "pushing the envelope".

    7. I agree that, while she looked beautiful, it's also a dress that very much calls attention to her figure. I don't think that was her motive, but that was the result.

    8. @12:23 Looks like Zach and Whitney were quite happy with their ceremony and the clothes worn. That’s all that matters. Your disappointment with her dress is based on your own opinions of what’s appropriate, not on what is necessarily right for everybody else.

  8. I’ve noticed Whitney wearing a new “wedding” band in front of her engagement ring since the vow renewal. Lucky girl. New dress, another party, more jewelry. Yeah. I’m starting to get this whole renewal thing😀

  9. What was wrong with their real wedding? I guess I’m old school as once you take vows your’re married. Most of us would do things differently as years go by. But that’s just life. I guess when you’re not paying the bill 2 weddings to the same man in less than 5 years is fun??

    1. Her biological parents weren’t at her first wedding, that was the whole reason they redid it.

    2. Her biological parents weren't in attendance and she had regrets that they didn't share the day with her and Zach. She had an opportunity to right what she thought was a wrong and continue to reconcile with her parents. She and Zach continue to be committed to each other and live the vows they made over five years ago, I hope they had a blast at the renewal.

  10. There is understandably a bit of raised eyebrows so to speak about Whitney doing a whole new wedding to incorporate her biological parents. It appears through the magic of reality tv that Whitney completely shunned them with her real wedding, and is now shunning her adoptive parents in round 2. I hope it’s just editing for tv story lines and that all parents are still welcome and celebrated.

  11. Are we going to see Josie and Kelton's wedding this season???????

  12. It must be heartbreaking for her adopted parents to not be invited to the wedding or in the wedding pics. I hope she invited them, it’s very kind of them to take her in and love her like their own

    1. We don’t know anything about Whitney’s adoptive parents. They could be great people or they could be total jerks who didn’t love her like their own. Whitney only lived with them for two years, and we don’t know what their relationship was like at that time. It’s not your place to judge or make assumptions.

  13. I wonder why Whitney didn’t get her adopted parents to come? You can I invite and love both parents

    1. Maybe she invited them, but they chose not to come. They may have wanted her to just share the day with her biological parents since they were at her first wedding.

  14. I have to say that I am excited to have the Bates family back. But I did not enjoy Erin's groans and moans again. Alyssa shows just enough. We don't want to scare young women to death.
