Are you fighting the Monday morning doldrums? This exciting news is sure to bring a smile to your face. Brooklyn Elise Paine has arrived!

Brooklyn was born on Saturday, August 6th, at 5:42am, and she weighed in at 6lbs, 6oz. More details will be released soon, but until then, we hope you enjoy this photo. (Click here to view the full gallery on uptv.com.) We love the pure joy written on Chad and Erin's faces as they watch son Carson Paine give kisses to his new sister.

  6. Congratulations to Chad,Erin and Carson on the birth of their Daughter and little sister Brooklyn Elise Paine. I am really glad that she arrived safely and that Mum is doing fine. I am really glad this little one is a girl due to the high risk birth & pregnancies But I am kind of hoping for you all that there will be at least 2 more babies to start with and without any major hiccups along this road. Who knows how many members this lovely family will grow in to being.
P.s. I am real glad that Erin said yes to Chad as I am sure she realizes by now he is the perfect man to travel with her on this road.
    God Bless.

    3. @Annonymous 7:09 pm. Unbelievable that you would insinuate any kind of "spiritual ugliness" associated with this beautiful baby due to her birthday. Shame on you. There should be absolutely nothing but happiness and blessings spoken over Brooklynn.

  29. Chad and Erin said that they choose to induce due to the complications with Carson's birth. Carson came very fast due to Erin having a placenta abruption. They didn't want that to happen again. Thankfully Brooklyn was born healthy with being born at nearly 37 weeks.

  32. Thrilled that Brooklyn has arrived safe and sound! I love her middle name! That was my precious mothers middle name which was her grandmother's first name -- I gave my middle daughter's this name for her middle name and the same for her daughter!! I think it is from a small area near France! Love the whole Bates crew and never miss a UP show. God bless and keep each of you in His loving care.

  39. Congratulations on the birth of your beautiful daughter Brooklyn. I am so glad that you both are safe.I have 3 beautiful daughters that are here with us on earth and 6 babies that are in heaven. For some reason God took them home before they were born.It is heartbreaking.I have prayed so often for you, when you were having trouble carrying to term like I did, during your pregnancies. I prayed you wouldn't have a second placental abruption. Working NICU and going in during high risk deliveries, I thanked God that you and Carson were both fine. That is itself was a miracle. I see so many people hoping you have a lot more. My wish for you is that you have as many as the doctors tell you it is safe, because Erin you being here to raise the two beautiful children you have is just as important as having more if it risks your health. My doctors told me, be here to raise the 3 you have instead of trying to have more and risking my own life.So it is a fine balance. I believe God will give us the amount of children he desires for us,but he also gives us Doctors to guide us when there are problems and hard decisions must be made.So I hope and pray for you that God continues to bless you,Chad and the two beautiful children you already have. P.S. I do want to know no matter what you are doing, even in labor un-medicated like the first time, you look absolutely stunning. You are one of the most beautiful woman I have ever seen and I am a lot older than you. Please tell us all your secret.
