Now that Michael and Brandon have more spacious digs, it’s Addee, Ellie and Callie’s turn to visit their big sis in Chicago! Michael gives the girls their first sewing lesson, and they enjoy some bonding time while painting ceramics at a pottery studio and visiting one of Michael’s favorite places in Chicago – the zoo. Meanwhile back home, Gil spends some quality time with Jud and Jeb by making a seesaw, while Tori and Bobby ponder their upcoming move to Nashville with mixed emotions.

  1. Is that a live African wildcat? No...scary. It has to be a display

    1. Why is the serval photo offensive?Did you also take offense to their interactions with the anteater and sloth? They are under the supervision of zoologists and the girls kept a respectful distance from the animals. I don't want to get into a full debate, but zoos provide an invaluable education to the public and are stewards of vulnerable animal populations.

    2. Maybe the animal rights people should find something more important to do with themselves.

    3. Maybe someone should lock you in a cage and bring you out when they wantand put a leash and collar on you. See how you like it.

    4. 11:54- Wildlife preserves for the protection of animals are one thing. Zoos that confine and display them for the purposes of entertaining the public are quite another. I find zoos to be incredibly sad and disheartening places to visit.

    5. There are many sanctuaries that are doing wonderful work. God bless them! Those animals are not on display and do not perform. The sanctuaries certification depend upon it.

    1. The Bates family live in Tennessee and the zoo episode was filmed in Chicago. While it can be frustrating that the show is months behind, it is unrealistic to expect the show to be shown in real time.

  5. Michael and Brandon always find the most fun, creative things to do with the little ones, and not so little ones. No wonder they love visiting with them!
