  1. I think naming the dresses using girl's name is a bad idea - with so many lovely names used so far it limits using THOSE names for future baby girls in the family.
I would not like it in my case.
They should use words as "the butterfly" , "silk bliss" "plain& fancy". etc.
I like the dresses & the names are nice. . . they just do not go together IMO

    1. If I were blessed with a baby girl, the last thing I’d worry about is whether a dress on a website had the same name.

    2. Why would it be a problem for a baby to share a name with a dress? The styles are going to change, while the baby's name will last their whole life.

  3. Some of these dresses are cute, but some look more like nightgowns.

    1. Agree !! They should be a little more affordable ...dresses like this on amazon go for $15.00 to $23 bucks max esp being comfy and casual ..they are really beautiful but I just can’t pay that much for that material of a dress I’m sure they will be quite successful I need to catch them when they and if they have a sale .until then I will just enjoy the pics ❤️

  8. I am enjoying seeing the family model the clothes. Nice to see Kelly in nice shoes. Now if they can get Michaella in nice shoes and a shorter dress.

  9. A “gown”? Why do you call these dresses “gowns”?

  10. Now, let's get some decent swimwear ladies. It is so hard to find a bathing suit that covers thighs, hips, and bust.

  11. These girls have got to stop advertising 'themselves' and start advertising the DRESS. We can hardly see the item, how it flows and the real cut. They need to model the outfit. NOt about themselves.

    1. Not that I agree with your take on their motives, but I noticed on the website that the poses sometimes do hinder us from seeing dress details. There was one with Carlin where you couldn't see either the front or back of the bodice.

    2. There are several photos of most of the dresses -- including close-ups of some parts like the bodice -- but it's hard to find them if you don't know how. If you click on one of the dresses, it takes you to another screen with the dress plus detailed info. Look at the upper right part of that photo, and you'll see some real small squares. If you click on those small squares, each turns into a new photo showing a different part of the dress, or a side or back view of the dress. Looking at all of the photos of the same dress you can almost picture how you'd look in it, or how the dress would move if you wore it. Maybe they should put a note on the Boutique website about how to find alternate views of the dresses. Glad I could help.

  12. Just wondering if they are American made, I'm sure they are not from some sweat shop in India or elsewhere, I hope.Does anyone know where they are made?

    1. An American made dress would have to cost at least three times what these cost. So they are likely not American made.

  13. I love the dresses but you can find dresses like this for $10 on Ross or amazon....

    1. That's because Ross and Amazon are huge companies, selling tens of thousands of dresses, so they can afford to sell them for very low prices and still make a profit. The Bates boutique is a tiny new company with lots of overhead that needs to be covered by sales of a smaller number of dresses. The only way they can eventually make a profit is to sell their dresses for more than $10.

  14. I don't care for the polka dot combined w/ the stripes. Too long and very unappealing.
