  4. I don't think it's a southern thing. I was raised in PA and my dad says clicker and everyone else in my family says remote. And no he isn't from the south. :-)

  16. I call it a remote. It's interesting to learn "sayings from different countries, (provinces/states) and communities. I've been reading and watching a lot from the southern states and laughed when I was proofreading an email, when I was saying youall (although I know that's not the way it's spelled). Canadians get teased about ending a comment with "eh".

    4. It's not a requirement to take part in this conversation. You can always wait until a topic comes up that interests you. I'm not being mean. Just offering a simple suggestion. Be blessed!

  20. I've heard the device called a clicker, but my family has always called it a remote ... could that be a New England thing? Like the buggy-shopping cart debate? (We say shopping cart or just cart.) 😊😊😊

  21. My mother always called it "the wand" growing up!

  23. Here in Nebraska we call it both...but mainly a clicker in our house.

  24. When we lived in CA it was the remote. Here in AZ it has become the "disappearing thing" because it seems to always get lost.
But I just remembered when I was a little girl my dad called it a clicky.
