ReplyDeleteNewborn babies are typically more alert when they aren’t given eye ointment when they’re born. I’ve noticed the Bates don’t do that. Good for them, being informed.
DeleteOh my goodness, no! That antibiotic ointment is vitally important. It greatly decreases the chances of a variety of eye infections that are transmitted during birth. These infections can lead to blindness.
