Nathan Bates on NPR

Nathan Bates and Lawson Bates

As we shared earlier this week, Nathan, Lawson, and Trace are currently doing relief work in Haiti with the organization MEDIC Corps. Nathan was interviewed by NPR correspondent Jason Beaubien on "All things Considered." The short segment can be found on the NPR website (link below).

    1. Why be so picky about his words? Why are people so eager to jump on every little thing?

  2. Did I just see "Nathan Bates" and NPR in the same sentence? I think, no matter what, it's good to go help and make a difference.

  3. I wonder why they are in Medic Corps instead of a Christian based organization like Christian Health Service Corps.

  6. To be perfectly honest, if I were in Haiti and had no access to water and food, I would be totally thankful to see any of that group come with food and water and first aid. I would not ask to see their credentials but would consider them a gift from God.

    3. I agree. I think people are being extremely unrealistic in their efforts to sound superior.
