Websters at a Pumpkin Patch

When you think of autumn in Florida, do visions of pumpkin patches come to mind? Even though the daytime highs are still close to 90 degrees in Orlando, the Websters decided to take part in a favorite fall activity. They visited Southern Hill Farms in Clermont. In addition to pumpkins, the farm also has a stunning field of sunflowers.

  1. This was on a Sunday. Do you think the people in their church secretly find it funny that they are constantly matching. I can imagine the amusement when they walk into church like that.

    1. They seem to think church is a fashion show. God doesn't care!

    2. Probably, I know I would:-)

    3. Why would anyone find it "funny"? It is adorable !

    4. If I were in their church, I'd look forward to seeing what cute outfit they were wearing each week.

      Delete
    5. I’m surprised that the girls haven’t wanted to express their own individuality yet by picking their own outfits.

    6. My church as a child had a few large families that wore matching or coordinating clothes. I loved it and secretly wished my family would do the same. When I married and had kids; we always dressed similar to church/events.

    7. It's more cute than funny.

    8. I doubt the girls are allowed to choose their own dress. If they didn't want to wear a matching dress (and what little girl doesn't have her own opinion about the dress she wears?), she'd be wearing it anyway. How things look matter the most.

    9. I wouldn't find it funny, but I would wonder how they had so many clothes! They seem to have a new set of matching clothes every week.

    10. AndryR Why would someone be jealous of matching outfits lol why can’t people accept that some people don’t like certain things and some do. Doesn’t mean anybody is jealous.

    11. I think everyone must be laughing behind their hands.

    12. I think it’s great that they dress all nice, I wish I could dress that nice all the time! The high heels though, I’m 5’8”, so if I wear high heels I look like a giant. Maybe that’s why I just don’t like high heels, they don’t look very conservative especially when you’ve got long legs like me 😆

    13. Grant it, it was nearly 25 years ago but we often had matching outfits and everyone thought it was cute. Then even when our girls were in their early teens we wore matching tops when we flew- especially out of the country. Why? It showed everyone who the girls parents were and stopped people from trying to separate them. A safety feature and so many parents came up to us to say what a great idea it was and how they were doing it in the future. BTW, my husband wore the same color polo when we traveled, too.

      Delete
    14. I have flown across the country many, many times with my girls wearing whatever shirt they wanted, and no one tried to "separate" them from us.

    15. If they had three boys, I wonder if they'd be dressed to match John? And if John would get all dressed up?

    16. 7:49, that doesn't mean it can't happen, just because it didn't happen to you. Do you realize what a big issue child trafficking is right now?

      Delete
    17. Do you really think a child traffickers works in places with lots of parents, cameras, security and other people very close by?

      Delete
    18. Wearing matching clothes is really outdated. Child experts recommend letting children pick out their own clothes, as long as it is appropriate for the weather, etc.

      Delete
    19. Who has to listen to a child expert tell them how to dress their kids? No thanks.

      Delete
    20. Anon 12:08 knows it all. She doesn't have to listen to experts.

      Delete
    21. 5:58, 🤣🤣🤣🤣 You think you need an expert to tell you how to dress your child? You have been lied to.

      Delete
    22. 5:58, thanks for the compliment! I'm a little concerned that you think we need experts to tell us something that anyone with common sense would already know, such as how to dress your kids. However have parents survived for thousands of years without such experts?

  4. The whole Webster family looks stunning. Love that the Webster ladies are matching in dresses (modest ones too). Can't wait for Macie Jo to come next year,so she can participate and match too.🙂❤

    1. I wouldn't have had a problem with them wearing shorts, t-shirts or jeans. That's what I wear to a pumpkin patch.

    2. ALL their matching dresses are bought for them by a fan......that’s creepy imho.

      Delete
    3. 4:19, how do you know that ALL their matching dresses are bought by a fan?

      Delete
    4. 4:19 - if that’s true that really is just strange. Are you certain of that?

      Delete
    5. They are dressed up to go to a pumpkin patch because they were filming a video for their youtube channel. They took a family trip, which should have been a casual, relaxed fun time, and used it as a vehicle to make money. How much fun is it, for those little girls, to have mommy and daddy pointing a camera at their face, urging them to say something cute?

      Delete
    6. Anon 9:46. Yes, thank goodness the preschoolers are dressed modestly.

      Delete
    7. Anon @ 5:04 Alyssa has said that a fan buys the dresses for them. I don't know if she has used the word ALL.

    8. @2:01 I watched this particular video on their vlog and the kids sure seemed to be enjoying themselves. They don't post that often, so it isn't as though their lives revolve around it.

  11. Why is Allie's face all red? Poor child always looks like she's been crying. It can be hard to be the oldest in a family like this. Perhaps she wanted to wear a different dress.

    1. It's Florida and it's HOT all of their faces are a little red

      Delete
    2. It was very hot that day and the kids were likely running around. No big psychological mystery. You can watch their YouTube video of their afternoon at the pumpkin patch. They mentioned it was 90 degrees.

      Delete
    3. No, if you've been crying, your eyes and nose look red, not your whole face. She looks like either she's had a bit of sun or been running around. They are in Florida, where it's both sunny and hot. I've never seen her look like she's been crying. You spin an imaginative story from this picture.

      Delete
    4. Would she even have been allowed to wear a different dress? Or did they all have to match for the video? This is one reason TV exposure is so bad for childrne.

      Delete
    5. TV exposure and matching dresses are two different things.

      Delete
  12. I love the way you all are always matching. You have a beautiful family, and I love it when you get to go home and be on the show.

  13. Alyssa herself stated that those matching outfits are sent to her by a fan. I agree that this is rather strange and if I were Alyssa, I would distance myself from someone who is that focused on HER family. I also think those matching outfits are silly. She is their mother, not one of the children.

    1. They're called mother-daughter outfits, not sister-sistee outfits.

    2. I could see a grandmother or great-aunt, or lifelong dear friend of the family buying matching dresses for everyone. Maybe Alyssa just says, “Oh, a fan provides those dresses,” to protect the identity and their feelings, perhaps someone in John’s family. (I don’t see the Bates doing that.) It’s not a lie because family and close friends are your biggest fans. And maybe Allyssa has everyone wear them out of caring and respect for the giver. I’m going to go with someone known and beloved as the dress giver because the thought of an obsessed fan, with nothing better to do or spend their money on than buy matching dresses for a reality tv family, is just too freaky!

      Delete
    3. No she has shared the identity of the fan.

    4. "A fan sends us dresses" sounds better than "Our family likes to dress the girls up"??

  14. Where are their masks?

    1. They probably took them off for the picture. It is 100% okay to take unmasked family photos.

    2. The state of Florida is an open state with no restrictions or mandates to wear a mask. They are outdoors. My son and his wife live in Ohio and go to the pumpkin patch without masks.

      Delete
    3. They were outside.

      Delete
    4. They don't need them outdoors.

    5. These responses make me so happy that I live in a state (NJ) that mandates masks in all circumstances where social distancing is not possible, both indoors and outdoors! I wear one every time I leave the house, because I live in a very densely populated area and am almost always near other people even if I'm just going for a walk.

      Delete
    6. Hopefully in the car where they should be. They live in Florida; ever been there in the hot months? A child would faint having to wear a mask in that hot and humid Florida sun.

      Delete
    7. 3:13, a pumpkin patch is usually a great place for socially distancing. Plenty of room to space out.

      Delete
    8. @3:13 I’m so happy I live in a state where people haven’t gone completely insane, and most people don’t wear masks outside or around the people they live with.

      Delete
    9. @ 2:28

Honest question. Since when is wearing a mask to protect yourself and others considered insane? I'm glad I don't live in your state!

      Delete
    10. @ 3:15

Give me a break! I worked outside in 90-degree heat while wearing a mask all summer for my job and I did not faint or even feel sick from it once! I wear a mask for seven hours a day at work. Healthcare workers have to wear them for 12-hour shifts. Alyssa and her family can handle it for 30 minutes or so at the pumpkin patch. If they can't handle it, they should say inside. People need to make sacrifices and toughen up! I swear this country has gotten so entitled!

      Delete
    11. 10:47, no, they don't need to wear masks when they're outside and socially distanced. And no, definitely not for the little ones who get easily overheated.

  18. If I saw them walking around the pumpkin patch with no masks, I would have gotten the police involved. My state thankfully requires masks everywhere! There's a reason why NJ is doing relatively well and FL is doing so poorly.

    2. Because NJ people care about each other.

    3. I'm 9:37 and I am not being sarcastic with my response. There actually is a website where we can report people and businesses who are violating mask and social distancing guidelines. If the violation is severe enough, the person's name, age, and town will be posted on nj.com for everyone to see.

      Delete
    4. There are better ways to handle it then getting the police involved. They have way more important things to deal with then people not wearing their mask. I live in a mask mandated state, both indoors and outdoors if you can’t socially distance, and I just stay away from those who are choosing not to follow the mandate.

      Delete
    5. 10:35, that is a much more sensible reaction.

      Delete
    6. Hey Karen -- Where I come from -- California -- people who wear masks outdoors either alone or with their families are looked down upon. If there's no one within 6 feet of you, there's no need to wear a mask. And if you see someone without a mask, why wouldn't you just STAY AWAY instead of wasting the time and resources of the police. Give me a break.

      Delete
    7. 6:22, that's awful.

    8. The country is experiencing a surge because of casualness like the Webster's display.

      Delete
    9. 8:00, the Websters are outdoors and there are no other people in sight. The camera person could be six feet away and/or wearing a mask. You have to have some common sense about this.

      Delete
    10. 8:00 the Webster's "display"? They're outdoors plus they are only standing next to people in their own family.
