    2. I agree. Could be Riley.

    3. I know a lot of boys named Riley. I’m not a fan of the names used for both boys and girls. Gets too confusing

    4. I know a lot of boys named Riley. I don’t care for the names used for both boy and girl. It gets confusing

    5. I knew some people would not be a fan of Riley, because it's gender neutral.

  2. Was hoping for a boy this time, but the girls rule. John, girls always spoil their daddy. Great news I know she will be beautiful.

    1. I was also hoping for a boy!! A boy would have been spoiled by his sisters. Hopefully next time!!Prayers for healthy mom and baby. She will be beautiful and loved.

    2. 5:28, I don’t think they’re planning big on having another. Alyssa made it sound like they were planning on being done after the three girls because of her heart condition and this baby was a surprise.

      Delete
    3. I’m sure they’ll have more. Alyssa said her perfect number is 6.

      Delete
    4. This baby was not a surprise. She did say she’s not sure if she’ll have more though because of how sick she gets.

  3. Wow wee! Well Atleast they’ve already got all the girl clothes!

    1. Really, in this day of gender fluidity, there is no such thing as "boy" and "girl" clothes. Kids should wear what is comfortable.

      Delete
    2. 6:34PM: I would say pink frilly dresses are still considered "girl" clothes.

      Delete
    3. I can’t tell if 6:34 is being serious or not? Probably just trying to get a reaction from people. Don’t give them the satisfaction

      Delete
    4. Haha, there are definitely still boy clothes and girl clothes. My boys wear boy clothes. My girl wears girl clothes. Gender fluidity is an unscientific myth.

      Delete
    5. 6:34, while there are more gender neutral clothes options that exist now, there are also still clothes that are designed with boys or girls in mind. Alyssa wouldn’t dress a little boy in the same thing that her daughters are wearing in that picture. Most people aren’t gender fluid or trans so until children are old enough to decide for themselves it makes sense to dress them in whatever the current norm is for their biologically assigned gender.

      Delete
    6. Wow, I was the one that posted the comment about girl clothes(anon 10:24)geez all I meant was she will have all the girl stuff, and so she won’t have to shop for much. That’s all I meant, simply just stating the obvious.

      Delete
    7. So pink dresses are boys clothes? Really. I’m quite frankly tired of hearing about gender neutral issues. Ya I wore boys clothes sometimes when I was little, and heck, still do today. But the fact is your born how God made you, with a girl or boy part. I have 2 boys, and 3 grandkids that are boys, so if I finally got a girl, you’d bet I’d dress her in all the pink and dresses and cute stuff! And the fact is, even if you dress the girl in all that, she will eventually make up her own mind on what she wants to wear! So let parents have fun and dress their kids how they want!

      Delete
    8. As a little girl, I mostly wore blue jeans. So did my friends. We wore the same clothes as the boys and it was very functional! I also think that little boys can wear pink frilly dresses, if they want to. Little boys love to dress in all sorts of clothes!

      Delete
    9. I hope they will stop hindering the girls movements by constraining clothing choices (ie mostly skirts and dresses). You can move around far better in pants, and the girls should be given the same chances as the boys would have. That is what I’m most concerned about when it comes to the clothing topic.
As a woman I can tell from first hand experience that pants allow for so much more movement.

    10. Absolutely, 4:57! The girls are at the age when they need to develop their gross motor skills. They need to run, climb trees, swing upside down, etc. Maybe you can do these things in dresses and strappy sandals, but you can do them much better in jeans. Alyssa needs to realize that these children are not little dolls, but little girls who need to run and play. Her job is to see that they develop their gross motor skills. Take those floppy sandals off the two year old and put her in a pair of sneakers so she can run!

      Delete
    11. 4:57 Alyssa wears jeans, shorts and pants, as do her daughters.

      Delete
    12. Anon 10:50: why would you dress a little boy in dresses? That’s just confusing to a child. Dress them the correct way and when they are older, let them decide how they want to dress. You are born boy or girl, so dress accordingly. I just thinks it’s really confusing to a little child, especially putting a boy in a dress. They are children, they don’t know how they are supposed to dress, it is the parent’s responsibility to dress their child.

      Delete
    13. to 4:57 am -- When I was growing up, pants were very tight. Nowadays, they are all stretchy. Well, I wore flowy dresses and skirts ALL the time because I could run and climb much better than in the tight pants that had no give. The girls in pants just sat around chatting.

  4. Awww, I was hoping for a boy but am ecstatic for a girl!! I think they will name her Lainey/Laney, Ivy, or Maisie. Praying for her!!

  9. What!! No big gender reveal party? Good for them. You see what a gender reveal gone awry has done out here in SoCal. Thousands of acres burning. Congrats to the family on a new baby girl.

    1. Well, they did do one. They broadcasted it on YouTube for everyone to see. They did one those canons that blast colored powder.

      Delete
    2. I also like how they kept the gender reveal small and eco friendly. There is absolutely no reason to have a big stage production for a gender reveal. It’s all for the likes on social media.

      Delete
    3. Because one party goes horribly awry, no one else should have one?

      Delete
    4. They did it virtually on their YouTube channel ( Webster Family-John and Alyssa).

    5. @Anonymous 6:24 p.m.

More than one has gone awry over the past few years. I personally wouldn't have one and don't attend them. That said, given the situation in the west and Pacific Northwest, it is a bit tacky to have them with (powder) smoke, etc. Throw some confetti or light a sign and be done with it.

      Delete
    6. Well, yes, don't have a shower/reveal that involves in incendiary things.

  10. How about Molly or Emily?

    1. I think they go for 2 syllable names, at least the other 3 are.

    2. So far the nicknames are 2 syllables. Emily could be nicknames Emmy /Emmie.

  23. Yay for another girl! Kind of sad it was not a boy for John. Now Alyssa can be the unique one of her family to still have all girls (and Tori so far with all boys). No hard feelings to John that its not a boy this time either. Our family has all girls (3 of them ages 21 (that's me who's commenting),19,and 16. And one of our friends has 6 girls between the ages of 25 and 12 and two of them are adopted (1 from Ethiopia and 1 from China). So there are families like yours with all girls.🙂 Is Alyssa planning a hospital birth with an OBGYN doctor this time since she previously had a heart issue? Or is she still doing a midwife birth in a birth center like the other 3 girls? Praying for you all. Haley P. from Colorado.

    1. Saying poor John is very rude to his daughters. If he desperately needs a son then they should pursue adoption where they can choose their baby’s gender.

      Delete
    2. Well, I think God in his wisdom gave John and Alyssa exactly the children they were supposed to have. All those sad comments seem
To not trust HIS judgment. I am sure the Webster’s
do and are thrilled with the children they are given.

      Delete
    3. Don’t be mean. Maybe 9:55 simply meant he won’t be outnumbered.

      Delete
    4. Hello again, it's me (Haley P.). Forgot to also put my suggestion for a girl name. Valerie Rose since she will be born in February (maybe the 14th❤?).

      Delete
    5. Again, so many people have sexism rooted so deep within their minds that they don’t even seem to notice it anymore. What a horrible thing to say something like being sad for John!

      Delete
    6. Why even mention that some children are adopted? Is it so important to point out they are differnt? Aren't they all members of the same family?

      Delete
  24. I guess they will keep trying for a boy, hope the next one is a boy. They have beautiful girls though.

    1. I think they’ll be done after this.

      Delete
    2. Sorry Lelia, but I really hope you don’t have any girls. I feel like they would be treated second class in your care. That is very offensive to indirectly critic the gender of a child (that is even unborn).

      Delete
    3. Yes, why assume a boy is so essential? I have no idea whether the Websters think that or not.

      Delete
    4. 5:05, some people want to have both boys and girls. Not uncommon.

      Delete
    5. I think they are just open to having babies.

      Delete
    6. What anon @ 5:05? A lot of couples want to have both genders not because they favor one over the other but because it’s just awesome to have sons and daughters. I have two boys and love them very much but if I were to get pregnant again I would hope for a girl cause I don’t know what that’s like.

  25. i really thought it would be a boy this time but i'm glad its a girl! john is the ultimate daughter spoiler! they both already thought girl and the girls didnt like the boys name they picked out lol! maybe something like emily cus i think they like the 'eee' sound at the end of the name

    2. Zach & Whitney already have a Khloe.... Don’t think they want 2 in the family

      Delete
    3. Why? Would something terrible happen if there were two Chloes in one (large) family? Alyssa and Zach don't even live in the same state. You can't mean that once someone takes a name, no one else can use it.

      Delete
    4. I forgot, probably the spelling being different. Sorry. Although they would have different last names.

  28. Ah another girl... as long as she is healthy and fine... name wise Alyssa has a thing for 2-syllable ones and my picks: Casey, Dolly/Holly, Elsie and Jemma

    3. Maybe she meant Dolly for the first name and Holly for a middle name. Dolly Holly Webster. Adorable!
