Fear of Heights

"I've always had a struggle with heights. I was a little chicken, but Erin was just all confident and cheesy-peasy."
-Chad Paine

Are you afraid of heights? Chad Paine admits that he is. In this sneak peek scene from tomorrow's season finale episode, Erin shows her husband up on the ropes course.

  1. Come on you guys - wasn't Erin the one who was afraid to go up in the ferris wheel in Chicago, but Kelly talked her into it because it would be enclosed? Now, on the zip line, she's not afraid at all. The same issues have happened with Kelly - afraid/not afraid. You guys need to pay more attention to your editing.

    1. That was rude. Lilly and Ellie do a great job.

    2. That Ferris wheel was extremely high. If I remember correctly she doesn't like it when the seats shake on a Ferris wheel. She had control of where she went on the ropes courses and could choose how high to go. I am sure she tested the equipment first and that made her feel better. Also with the ropes course, you have something you are standing on as well as being attached. If something happened to a Ferris wheel, there is no way to stop a fall, so I can see her being more comfortable on the rope course.

    3. I was not referring to anything about Lilly and Ellie. Yes, they are fabulous. I was referring to the TLC editors etc. No offense intended.

  3. You are not alone. Many of us suffer with fear of heights. Not to happy about the queazy, tickling feeling in the stomach. Don't be ashamed.
Some can face it. Others run the other way. I'm a runner.lol

    1. Yep I'm a runner too and that is just fine by me! No ferris wheels, no bungee jumping ever, no walking across bridges, no zip lining ever, no mountain climbing, none of that! Keeping my feet on the flat ground and happy!

    1. Because the Duggars show is on TLC they are not allowed to be featured on Bringing Up Bates and vice versa. I'd also love to see it but it goes against the show's policy unfortunately! :(
