A Future in Furniture?

Chad Paine currently works eight hours a day at a local metal recycling company to support Erin and their four-month-old son, Carson. On the side, Chad enjoys building and refinishing furniture, and he hopes to turn his hobby into a full-time job someday.

If the Lord leads Chad and Erin to open a furniture shop, what do you think they should name it?

  4. Perch shop. The first letter of Paine, the second and third of Erin and the last two are the first of Chad.
Definition of PERCH :1: a bar or peg on which something is hung

  18. "Paine's Perspective" - keeps with his blog's theme and when redoing something, there are lots of possibilities - but it's the crafter's perspective that brings the final result.

  24. I'd call it Chad's Perspective, just like his blog. Every artist has his or her own perspective on style, and Chad's is conveyed through his work. Each piece is made or altered after thoughtfully considering the wood, the materials and the overall aesthetic. So, Chad's perspective innately part of every piece he crafts or refurbishes. Ergo, call the store Chad's Perspective.

  36. "Fledglings" is when baby birds get too big to be sat on, so they fly away. Maybe with that nest of baby birds leaving the nest, and furniture being taken care of then leaving the the house, or nest, that could be a good word t use or at least an idea for something in the title of Chad and Erins new business. Just a thought. The furniture is beautiful and its when you take something old and make it beautiful and then let it go. I would love to see a page of items he redoes its so inspiring to me and the chance to buy something he makes would be even better, as long as there were wide price ranges, small things, and large! Just amazing! :)
