  1. Another bates girl “surprised “ she’s pregnant. Unless you are are using bc or have had surgery, it’s not a surprise. You know how babies are made 🀦‍♀️

    1. After her heart issues and other health things, the Dr told them it would be very surprising if she conceived again. It was addressed in a previous video. When maci was born it was addressed as well. I guess you forgot.😊

    2. I definitely got the impression that they’re using bc based on some of their comments. That would make a pregnancy a surprise.

    3. Alyssa said they were using birth control and got pregnant the one time that they decided not to

    4. Well that’s how bc works, have to use it every time!

  4. Please don't' call this precious blessing "Baby Number 5". By numbering babies, you rob them of their God-given individuality

    1. It wasn't intentional, if our individualality is based on a title, that is pretty sad.

    2. The baby doesn't have a name yet and is, in fact, number five.

      Delete
    3. Weren't babies in the Bible numbered? It's their fifth child. Saying it's baby number five isn't demeaning.

    4. Agreed… think they’re just trying to keep track of everything and every little one.

  5. Congrats on baby #5. I hope it is a boy.πŸ‘•

  6. Congratulations to the Webster Family! I can't wait to find out what it is. Most likely it will be another girl like Alyssa suspects the way she feels but you never know, maybe it could be a boy finally for their last one.😁🀞This will now make it 24 grandkids for Gil and Kelly Jo,just 2 less than the Duggar's.☺️πŸ‘πŸ‘ΆπŸΌ#Batesgrandchild24

  7. Congratulations! Can’t wait to hear the name they pick! It will surely end with the « we » sound like their other kids.

    1. I was thinking the same thing. All of their daughters have cutesy, frilly names.

    1. Yep! Had a friend who was determined her fourth child was her last. Two years later they ended up with twins!

    2. As sick as she is with this pregnancy, I'm sure it's their last.

    3. Nothing is for sure.

    4. On the show when at the grandparent's farm, Alyssa told the grandmother that they were stopping at four.

  15. Hasn’t she had a lot of health issues during pregnancy? They keep trying for that boy, but maybe time to get some birth control to stay safe. The human body can only take so much!

    1. I agree. I don't know why such a premium is placed on having boys.

    2. It really offensive when people say oh you must be trying for a boy/girl. When a parent has multiple kids of the same gender. Coming from a mom with two boys, I hate when people ask if I'm going to try for a girlnl or of I get pregnant again will be hoping for a girl. Then tell me I'm lying when I tell them if I am blessed with another child I wouldn't care what the baby is.

I doubt they are trying for a boy, with their beliefs they believe any baby is a blessing no matter the gender of the baby.

    3. The video said they were surprised. You can also get pregnant while on Bc. She could have been on it.

    4. Not sure bc would be the “safe” thing to do especially for Alyssa since it increases your chance of stroke. They seem to do a form of natural family planning which is the healthy thing to do if you want to be married and not hurt pregnant.

      Delete
    5. Actually they are using some form of birth control, not that it is anyone 's business. And they had a "happy accident",they were not trying for a boy. Why do you interpret facts without kning anything about them ?

  16. My question is how do they survive each pregnancy if she is so sick? Can her husband just not work for a few months or how do they do it? Babies are precious but it must not always be easy on her husband and the little ones if she is only in bed or throwing up in the bathroom. If she is pregnant about every year or two that takes its toll. Also what about her other health issues

    1. John needs to work to provide for his family since Alyssa stays home to homeschool the girls and keep house. Plus her siblings are frequently visiting every few weeks so they can help while they are in town and she's got in-laws to help her who live around the Orlando area. She sadly has what I think since it's happened every pregnancy she's had is a form of hyperemesis gravidarum that Duchess/Princess Kate Middleton got with her 3 pregnancies.

  19. I’m curious about how they handle Alyssa being so sick with each pregnancy??? Maybe, John is allowed to take all the time he needs due to the company being his family’s business? Also, how are her daughters handling having mommy sick for weeks?

    1. I was wondering the same thing. If it is going to make you that sick, having a baby isn't worth it.

      Delete
    2. Having another child isn't worth 9 months of sickness? Wow. Makes the child feel really valuable to hear that.

      Delete
    3. It’s worth it. Nothing beats having your own baby!!

    4. I was super sick during my two pregnancies and my kids are worth every minute of these harsh eighteen months!

    1. It can also be used to help regulate a woman's cycle as is my case since I have a medical condition that causes irregularity. In my case, it will actually help my chances of pregnancy when my now fiancΓ© and I are married.

  21. I’m so angry that they canceled this program. I really enjoyed it. If they can have something like Sister wives on TV and looking for a sister wife if that’s OK why shouldn’t this all American family be OK

  22. Maybe TLC would pick them up

  23. My parents had 4 girls before their first boy. ❤️ Just because she is sick again does not mean it's another girl. Look at princess Kate.

    1. I agree! My sister-in-law and her husband have seven kids; five girls and two boys in that order! She had morning sickness with all of them and thought for sure her first boy was a girl.

  24. I say it's another girl.
