And Puppy Makes 5!

Wondering why we posted a random picture of an adorable, eight-week-old beagle on the blog? Well, Bradley Bates turns three in a couple weeks, and he just received an early birthday present from relatives on Whitney's side. The little beagle doesn't have a name yet, but it sure is cute!

Bradley's cousin Carson Paine also has a pet dog, which the Paines welcomed last summer. His name is Max, for those who hadn't heard.

  1. Oh boy! Get ready to invest in some ear plugs, and lots of time filling up holes in your yard! Beagles are adorable, but they bark A LOT, and DIG. I know, I've had two neighbors with beagles. they're very sweet though!

    1. Why do only boys need puppies? Dogs can be a girl's best friend too!

    2. Alot of girls are afraid of dogs at that age.

    3. Nope. Most children love animals. We adopted an older dog from a shelter when my daughter was that age. She loved the dog, as did all her other girl and boy friends.

  5. Life is so much better with dogs, and children benefit so much from growing up with them. That photo of Bradley with the puppy is adorable!

  9. I love beagles! They are great family dogs. Very loving. I have beagle mixes who we rescued from the animal shelter. They are they sweetest dogs ever. They howl in the morning for breakfast, but other then that are fine sitting next to you on the sofa. They love going on walks at the park!

  10. Sweet. But am I the only one who thinks it's not the wisest idea as Whitney has just started a new job? Puppies are adorable & fun but take
up a lot of time to look after their immediate needs & train. I do so hope they're aware you can't leave
puppies for hours whilst they're out at work or elsewhere.
Whitney' capacity to manage everything amazes me.
