It's a season of change for Katie and Travis Clark. They recently relocated to East Tennessee, and now they just made another big announcement. Katie is pregnant with Baby #2! She and Travis found out the news in early February, while they were en route to Tennessee for the Bates' I Love You Day party, which was less than two weeks before Hailey's first birthday. You can watch their announcements to their family members in their latest YouTube video.
This baby will make 32 grandchildren for Gil and Kelly Bates, with four more on the way. Esther Bates is due in fall, while Tiffany Bates is due in summer. Tori Smith is due with her fifth soon.
Is anyone surprised by this announcement? Now waiting for Emmerson and Jackson to announce a pregnancy.

ReplyDeleteToo small? That apartment is big enough for them and 2 little kids. Seriously my family lived in a small 2 bedroom townhome with three kids aged 11 and under. We did just fine.

Delete@7:24 Not saying everyone does or has to. My family was poor and living with a relative so moving to that town home was awesome to us. Its all in your perspective. Besides, Katie and Travis chose this after much prayer. They're not going to suffer. Some people with no kids live in huge houses, so I think Katie and Travis can live in an apartment with two kids. There's no hard fast rule that says families have to live in houses that so-called "fit" them. Big and empty or tight and cozy.

DeleteCongratulations Travis and Katie! Maybe they won't be in their apartment too long if they save up for a second house to live in (buy or rent) in Tennessee. Hailey will make a great big sister as I've seen her love on her new baby cousin Miles Balka recently in a new video. Pray for Katie to have a good pregnancy. No judgement for her and Travis having 2 under 2. They are such good parents.
ReplyDeleteAmen on no judgment. People make their own choices and if they choose to have kids close together/a lot well then congrats. I don't understand why it bothers so many people that other women make the choice to have kids early, quickly or a lot. It's not their life. So why do they care? Unless it makes them feel like they should follow suit. Why? Just because someone say uses bc doesn't mean I have to and visa versa. If a woman has lots of kids others shouldn't feel compelled to do the same. So therefore there should be no judgment.
