Now that the Bates' show is off the air, viewers won't have the pleasure of meeting Lydia on TV, so she and Trace filmed a YouTube video to share how they became acquainted (link below). The pair was set up by Josie, and they only met last year.

Trace Bates Engaged
The 11th Bates wedding is in the works! Trace proposed to Lydia on March 21st, and Us Weekly broke the story today. The couple announced their relationship in early December. Congratulations to the future Mr. and Mrs. Bates! If they wed before October, that will be the fourth Bates wedding in less than 12 months.

Double Bday: Bates #8 and 19
Another year has begun, which means it's time to restart the Bates birthday list. The family has already checked off four in the month of January, and today is the first double. Trace is 25, and Jeb is 10. That is a big milestone for Gil and Kelly because it means that all of their 19 children are officially in the double digits. Happy birthday to Trace and Jeb!
