Katie and Travis Clark announced several weeks ago that they would be leaving Tennessee. They have been preparing for their move but have kept the location of their new home a secret. They recently took a 15-hour road trip with two toddlers and a U-Haul in tow, and today they revealed the state that they have moved to. It’s Texas!
Texas? What in the world is in Texas that could possibly save their marriage and family? A pastor with experience on their situation to council them? None of their family members on both sides live there because they are all in NJ,TN and FL and now CA.

DeleteWell, Katie has lost 90% of her family, allegedly. I have no idea if Travis will cheat and commit adultery again. Nobody does. But, I think it’s mature of them to move away from both sides of family. Force themselves to grow up. Katie is the money maker on social media. If. the marriage doesn’t make it I’m happy she won’t have familial gaslighting to contend with in her backyard so to speak.

DeleteWhere is their dog Remi? Remi has not shown up in any pictures or reels since the holidays. Do we know if she is okay? Did she relocate with a different family member? They had Remi since she was a puppy and I recall them celebrating her 5th birthday and now suddenly she's just gone from all of their social media. Fans want to know.

ReplyDeleteAnd first the girls all dressed modestly but now they're dressing like everyone else with exposed skin and straps showing. Plus all the vain self-promotion. What they've said and what they're doing are two completely opposite things. People are supposed to accept that or respect that? Time for them to dust off their Bibles and re-read them. Or maybe just watch their old shows. Their values and family values are not what they used to be.
DeleteI agree. I used to love the show 'Bringing up Bates'. I admired Gil and Kelly Jo for raising 19 children and trying to bring them up with biblical standards and good family values. Everybody knew that they really weren't perfect, but it was obvious that they were trying and that they loved each others, which is the best that we can all do.
DeleteI particularly admired Kelly Jo. I thought she as an amazing mother- she homeschooled all of her children, and supported all of them in their choices and their life trials. I prayed that I could be a little bit like her. It bothers me that now that some of the younger kids seem to be trying to destroy the Bates image that Gil and Kelly promoted.
@8:37 It was a reality TV show where people perform for the cameras. If the Bates were only trying to present an "image", it doesn't take much to tarnish it.

DeleteAre they getting views in the millions per month? They'd need that to make bank. I feel sorry for them if they have to produce content all the time to finance their lives. Someday they're going to realize they focused more on a camera than their real family lives. They won't get that time back. The kids may resent it someday too.

DeleteNo laws there on using kids on monetized social media, like TN. At least not yet.
ReplyDeleteBut there are laws in the works in Texas that would require Bible readings in public schools. The encroachment of church and religious beleifs on government is quite alarming and a affront to the Constitution.
DeleteHistory tells me they had Bible reading in school for more than the first 150 years of our nation, and the men who wrote the Constitution were all for reading the Bible in schools! And you WILL NOT find the phrase “ Separation of Church and State”, in the CONSTITUTION! Look for yourself, you will not find it!

The first amendment is about freedom of speech and the press and the Freedom of religion, meaning keeping the State out of the Church, and it DOESN’T mean keeping the Church out of the State. Our Founding Father’s prayed and sought God’s wisdom and used the Bible’s godly principles and godly values to form this nation in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. “ In God we Trust” is on our money, and in the Pledge of Allegiance, is the phrase,
“One Nation under God”. 🇺🇸🙏
@1:53 Every court in the land has struck (and will strike) down your kind of reasoning. I was in elementary school when Engle v. Vitale removed mandatory prayer from schools, and it has not be reinstated since that Supreme Court ruling, for a good reason. The First Amendment applies.

Delete@4:02pm and 7:51pm I know Bible reading and prayer were taken out of the schools by the courts after it being in our schools from the birth of our Country. The courts have been known to make wrong decisions many times throughout our Country’s History. We differ in that I believe the courts were WRONG Constitutionally in that decision and you believe they were right in their decision. Refer back to my comment @ 1:53am as to my reasoning for why I believe they were wrong. I guess we can agree to disagree. I will keep praying for our courts to make the correct decision according to our Constitution and not a decision against our Constitution.
DeleteCan't run from having an affair forever was just 6months ago. And like others said now no nursing school how convenient. STAY OFF SOCIAL MEDIA. Am sure someone will find where they moved too in Texas and post it soon enough.
ReplyDeleteAlthough Katie has not publicly disclosed why she had a falling out with her family which led to this move, I am afraid that counseling in 2026 is overly influenced by the "dissect your past and burn it all down" theory of practice. In January, we learned Katie had just suffered through a miscarriage and her husband having an affair around the same time. A good counselor would focus on those two huge issues and recommend leaning on family that loves her for support. Going through a double trauma like that is NOT an opportune time to take a fine tooth comb through your childhood, when you are so emotionally traumatized you are likely to blow other things out of proportion as you look for an external party to blame for your current mental state. Now she is going to try to rebuild her life not only without a family's support but also with no friends as they start over in a brand new state. Most people can't fix a marriage or recover from miscarriage-induced depression in such total isolation. I pray I am wrong and a counselor didn't give her such foolish advice.

DeletePerhaps there was childhood emotional trauma that caused the falling out with her family and it IS a huge issue for her. No competent therapist is going to foolishly dismiss it as just "blowing it out of proportion." And for all you know, Katie doesn't think her family could provide that support if they haven't given it in the past regarding her childhood experiences.
DeleteAs we know with another huge religous TV family, stuff gets swept under the rug quite easily.
Personally I don't care what happened between Katie and her family. That is between her and her family, and God. Not the rest of the world.
