DeleteIt was a girt to Carlin from Evan. Maybe he got a good deal on it. Times have changed, though. Back in my day of raising kids, a mom usually had 1 diaper bag that was used for all her kids.
DeleteIf my husband gifted me a $2500 diaper bag, new or used, I'd think he'd need his head examined. We're wealthy enough but I would never spend that much on a bag (which is part of how we got wealthy), especially if I had more kids at home that will no doubt need things in the future. That bag, no matter what he paid for it, won't put food on the table, shoes and braces on the kids, or build their college funds. Where are the priorities? Status symbols give you nothing worthwhile in the long run. I'm sure there are Bible verses about this.
DeleteHope they have the extra dollars for speech therapy. Poor Zade certainly needs it so I hope they’re continuing with him. Layla has some speech issues but they aren’t as significant.
DeleteIt's a Prada bag. Like anyone needs a $2400 Prada bag to carry diapers around. If you want to spend that much, go get a $5 bag at a thrift store or yard sale, then donate $2395 worth of diapers and formula to some charity that helps families who are financially struggling. Imagine the difference you could make in someone's life instead of selfishly toting around a Prada bag. Not impressed!

ReplyDeleteI certainly hope that by now, the Bates and the Duggars have gotten off their anti-epidural platform and have stopped trying to insinuate that "natural" birth is better than a birth with some sort of pain medication. It's nothing to brag about, and you don't try to shame others this way.
