Trace and Lydia Bates are adjusting to life with two children under age two. Kaia Rae Bates is one month old, and Ryker turns two in September. In their most recent video, the proud parents discuss how the past month has been for their family of four, and they share the details of Lydia's health scare. A couple weeks after Kaia's arrival, Lydia ended up in the hospital for three days with some signs of sepsis. Trace and Lydia also uploaded another video where they share more about this issue.
Glad she’s ok now!
ReplyDeleteGET THE CAMERA OUT IF HER FACE!
ReplyDeleteReally. I'm surprised some doctor or nurse didn't tell them the same thing. They should totally forbid cameras.
DeleteA two part ER visit. Why does she need more camera time?
ReplyDelete2 part? It was just one video.
DeleteWhat ER lets you film? Privacy is huge at hospitals. I got fussed at when I stopped at a nurse's station to ask a question, and they said, "You can't stand here because there's patient info on the computer screen." I wasn't even looking at a screen, I just wanted to ask a question! They would have had a fit had I been using a recording device anywhere in the hospital. You can say you're only filming yourself, but hospital staff wouldn't trust that. How disrespectful to film there anyway. People trying to do their job preserving your life and you're more interested in creating blog content.
Delete@6:19 That's what always got me watching the Bates or the Duggars on TV - the disrespect for others. "Such good Christians" but you always saw "me/us first" on full display. Still do. "Jesus first, Others second, Yourself last" (JOY) is just a saying, not a practice. I think the network saw that and included it anyway to show the hypocrisy. A lot of their filming was like that. Many sincerely good people weren't fooled.
