Just a couple weeks after celebrating Trace's 18th birthday and Jeb's 3rd birthday on February 1st, the Bates are prepping for another double birthday celebration! Today, Jackson Bates turns 13, and Addallee Bates turns 9.

I thoroughly enjoy this family and was able to watch some of the episodes on YouTube before it was pulled. Being without cable or satellite, I hope their show becomes available on Amazon. Not much on TV is worth watching, let alone paying for, but I would definitely fork over a little something to watch the Bates. I used to feel the same about the Duggars, but whatever charm they had for me is no more. I hope the Bates can maintain the quality of their show and not let it become scripted or tedious "trying too hard" programming.
