Keilen's New YouTube Channel

Michael and Brandon Keilen started a YouTube channel! They uploaded a video about how they met, and they hope to share new videos every week.

  1. I saw their channel pop up on my YouTube recommendations and was so excited about them starting a channel focused on other things than vlogging for a living unlike some of Michaela's siblings. Art and kids ministry sounds fun to watch. May their new channel be successful.

  2. Coming in on the coattails of those who have already monetized YouTube?

    1. Just hopping on the band wagon. Might as well as it's worked for the rest of them.

    2. Not the Keilen's. They plan to share tips on teaching kids the Bible and their projects they make in their online store Keilen Corner. It's not for money or fame, but for their ministry they are involved in teaching children's church and their love for Michael's 2 little brothers and 2 dozen plus nieces and nephews spending time with them.

    3. Anon 10:24. They could do all those things without being on UTube. They get MONEY for being on UTube.

    4. 12:29,everyone on YouTube gets paid. It's entertainment for people to watch. Are you jealous because you don't make money from it too? I don't see why it would bother you so much otherwise. Actresses and actors get paid too for being in tv shows and movies. That's how it works, you get paid for whatever it is your sharing with the public. You make a living doing something you love. Don't think I can explain it any better.

    5. I hope they realize that there will come a time when the public loses interest in them. How will they provide for their large families then? A career may be a good back-up plan.

  3. So they need cash too? Oh well, no one is required to watch.

    1. Agree use your LPN certificate. They have and be a nurse. What is wrong with a real job!

    2. I’m curious, too, as why Michaela is not working as a nurse somewhere?

    3. I have a feeling that it is Michaela who is the more orthodox one of the two. Brandon, IMO, wouldn't mind if Michaela took a job as an LPN in a nice, small medical office...but she won't. Remember the parents' rules about not working out in public for the women. It's not allowed. This education is being wasted. Nothing wrong with being there for your grandparents, etc. if truly needed on an as needed basis but it seems like Michaela is just wasting her time "waiting" for her grandparents' physical decline to use her training. I think she would enjoy her job is she actually tried.

    4. I think Michaela may have anxiety and have fears she will not fit in or know her job well. Maybe, she could use a boost in the confidence department.

  5. Brandon and Michaela seem to be the only sincere Bates children. The other siblings that have their YouTube channels are all about themselves and the fake lives they live. Trace and his wife and young and are just trying do the best they can. Good luck to the Keilens and to Trace and Lydia.

  7. I thought she studied to be a nurse. Guess having a UTube channel is a better job though.

  9. I hope Michaela can get pregnant after her miscarriage, but if she can’t, then she and Brandon can adopt newborn babies. Prayers.

    1. I reckon Michaela and Brandon should have adopted babies long time ago......
They can keep trying to get pregnant, but just help out with what's already available.
They really love the Lord Jesus, so just take care of the babies that girls/women have rejected.

    2. There are a lot of older children languishing in foster care, waiting for permanent homes.

    3. Just maybe, they really don’t want to be parents!

    4. I don't think anyone should tell other people to adopt children. That's a long and difficult process and not everyone wants to go that route. They should make their own decision on the matter.

  10. Loved watching the videos and love watching the Bates family. Prayers.
