Lawson just released a new music video. This one is extra special because it features the single "Vows, which he performed a shorter version of when he and Tiffany said "I do" on May 12th, 2022. Lawson co-wrote the song with Adam Wheeler.
The music video is a beautiful, artistic representation of the song, and, of course, includes Tiffany. Filming was quite the production (literally) because transporting a piano into the desert is no easy task. Links to the finished product and a behind the scenes video are below.

I listened to this video and I'm sorry to say that Lawson just doesn't have it in him to sing well professionally. Someone needs to let him know so that he can get a real job. Using his own personal wedding and wife in a CD is not a good idea. It should have been a private tribute to her. The general public is not interested in his personal life. They just want good music.
ReplyDeleteI don't think he sings all that poorly. I wouldn't buy the video but perhaps others will. It's his dream so he should pursue it.
DeleteNice to know you have judged him and found him wanting. He sounds like lots of other country singers out there. If his wife and he want this in a public video, that's their choice. Seems a lot healthier than all the country music that pushes immorality.

ReplyDeletePiano is probably ruined with sand blowing into it. Lawson has a nice voice and the song is sweet; but he and it are more local talent.

ReplyDeleteI listened to the song before the music video came out and really liked it. Everything he has done is good to some extent. Never did like he sang with several different girls before and none his girlfriend until Tiffany came along. Hope this one catches the attention of the country music critics to get him to sign with them at long last because he does have potential if he can work with other country music artists. Maybe someday he can sing a duet with Dolly Parton or something. Keep up the good work Lawson and you'll get your big break soon I bet.

DeleteHis voice is okay and the song is sweet; but it’s not really at the level for main stream music. It’s great that he loves Tiffany , however I think it’s better she stay out of his music business. I’m sorry this may come if harsh; just my opinion.

ReplyDeleteI think he has a rather average voice and sounds like many other aspiring country singers. It's pretty hard to make it as a singer so who knows if it will work out for him.

I don't think you meant it to be analyzed and picked apart by people who probably aren't professional singers nor vocal coaches, so I can only imagine how sad you feel when you read those kinds of unnecessary comments. Singing is special to him,so I wish him all the best in his musical journey. I think he and Tiffany being together in the video, makes it that much more special.
