Doesn't have to be a three-year old, could be an eight year old. Parents have been planning these parties for years without any help. Why would anyone pay Alyssa to do so? Although she put together a nice party for Lexi, I don't think it's something she can monetize. Parents have been throwing parties for their kids for centuries.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5387778566526841808.post-46668385609722466252020-01-22T12:16:07.095-06:002020-01-22T12:16:07.095-06:00Pinterest, Amazon, and YouTube pretty much have y...Pinterest, Amazon, and YouTube pretty much have you covered when it comes to planning a birthday party for a 3 year old. She says she gets ready for the day while Allie "does school" in this way. She has a set of preschool videos for Lexi, which she supplements with flashcards. There are so many better ways to teach a three-year old than flashcards. Learning through play is the best way to teach that age group. But yes, Alyssa homeschools (her father-in-law is a huge advocate of homeschool).Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5387778566526841808.post-85983691458229309722020-01-21T17:06:40.966-06:002020-01-21T17:06:40.966-06:00Not everyone has the time or talent to pull off a ...Not everyone has the time or talent to pull off a well-organized party. When my kids were in preschool, they played with instruments, enjoyed visits from local firemen, used playdoh to scultp numbers and letters, fingerpainted, sang songs, had circle time, learned to get along with nonrelated kids, and made lots of things from paper mache. Watching a video is just not the same. I was homeschooled from third grade up and loved it so much more than being stuck in the same building for eight hours everyday, only to have to come home and do MORE school (homework). I was able to experience so much more being homeschooled than I ever would have been able to if I had been in public school, and I’m so greatful my parents made that choice for me. Obviously homeschooling isn’t for everyone either, but please stop trying to push the narrative that being in public school is somehow better.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5387778566526841808.post-66511843266531030852020-01-20T09:39:28.298-06:002020-01-20T09:39:28.298-06:00Her girls are so cute!!Her girls are so cute!!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5387778566526841808.post-60119069110742326672020-01-20T00:19:21.190-06:002020-01-20T00:19:21.190-06:00She sure would! She sure would!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5387778566526841808.post-84936358366528872092020-01-19T23:26:02.994-06:002020-01-19T23:26:02.994-06:00As a homeschool mom, I can assure you that there a...As a homeschool mom, I can assure you that there are many, many benefits to homeschooling.
