Trace and Lydia Bates have been searching for a home of their own for a while. They are growing out of their two-bedroom rental, although they love the location. They have considered a lot of options, including building a place, but they haven't made any plans. They say they don't yet have peace from God about a location or whether to buy or build, so they are waiting. The parents of two share more details, including footage from a recent trip to Dollywood, in their latest YouTube video.

DeleteI guess if you're waiting for "peace from God" before you make any decisions, do whatver works for you. But what if you think that "peace" comes to you, but the decision you made on that basis turns sour...who gets the blame? Trusting my own instincts has usually worked out pretty well for me. When I'm right, it feels dang good. And when I'm wrong, I can only blame myself.

DeleteIt would be nice if instead of just these comments being posted, an explanation would be posted too. It's down and being fixed, a new one is under construction, something. Leaving everyone hanging in the middle of Joe and Kendra's news is very strange.
DeleteI think they need to consider buying Carlin and Evan's old house that they soon will be selling once the renovations to their new mansion house is complete enough to move in. They already live in the Stewart's first home they had after getting married,so why not? Plus I'm sure Zac can give them a good deal since they are family.

DeleteThey already said they aren’t planning to buy the Stewart’s house because it is not in the location they are looking for.
DeleteI'm not trying to be insulting, but exactly what peace from God are they expecting? If they can't afford it, just say so. Many young families have to wait a bit before buying a home. I'd be interested to know exactly how they determine they have the right "peace".
