Lawson Bates just released a new song, and it’s a tearjerker. The tune is called “When We Say Goodbye” and is a tribute to Papa Bill, Gil Bates’ father who is suffering from memory loss. You’ll find the music video on YouTube.
It a wonderful tribute to Grandpa Bill! You are caring, loving, devoted family to helping your elderly grandparents and your song will be one that thousands of people can relate to and remember their loved ones with memory loss. You are helping Grandpa Bill and Jane to stay in their home and help with the stress of caring for their physical needs! I know the Lord is pleased with you "Honoring your father and mother" (and grandparents)!!
First song of Lawson's that i would listen to over and over again. The others, even listening to them once, i didn't care for them. Total tearjerker. I cried. i lost both grandpas in a matter of three weeks....and my grandma a few months before that. That was a horrible year for me. This song brought back all sorts of feelings and memories. Great job, Lawson.
