Last spring, when I was two months pregnant but hadn't yet announced, I did a giveaway of an infant bed called the Mumbelli. Our Little Buddy arrived three months ago, and he fell in love with his Mumbelli immediately.
Initially, we planned to use the bassinet that came with our Pack 'n Play at night and use the Mumbelli as more of a day bed, but our little guy quickly decided that he didn't like the bassinet. We started using the Mumbelli at night, while he was swaddled, and he slept great. For the first eight weeks, he only woke up two to three times each night, and then he suddenly started sleeping five to six hour chunks.
By nine weeks, he was consistently sleeping seven to ten hours each night. During the day when he was crying, we would lay him in his Mumbelli with his noise machine nearby, and it usually calmed him right down. It is soft and comfortable, yet still firm enough to be safe. And it's easy to travel with, too. We took it on a car trip to visit the in-laws. Needless to say, the Mumbelli was a life saver. Little Buddy is very long (he takes after his tall daddy), so he just grew out of it, but the average baby can use it until he or she starts rolling over.
For more details on how the Mumbelli works, you can visit my post from last May. Mumbelli is sold on the Mumbelli website, as well as on Amazon. You can follow Mumbelli on Facebook and Instagram (@mumbelli.official).
I am partnering with Mumbelli to raffle off a Mumbelli infant bed to two lucky readers! Follow the prompts on the Rafflecopter widget below to enter the giveaway.

ReplyDeleteI am 2.5 months postpartum with my first child at 35 after being told I could not have children for the past 13 years. He is truly a blessing and I still can't believe he is ours, praise the Lord, He is a most wonderful Father. I had a pretty rough pregnancy early on which started with a hemorrhage at 11 weeks and we thought I has miscarried. I was completely devastated until the US tech told me the baby was still there even though it was against the rules, but no one at the ER was telling us anything. I was on bedrest for the rest of the pregnancy and had other things happen which led to his cord being wrapped around his neck 3 times and had to come a month early via c-section. He is 2.5 months now and healthy as can be and I'd do it all over again in a heartbeat. My Faith in the Lord is what kept me calm and strong. I knew after that hemorrhage that the Lord was driving this pregnancy and he was reminding me to keep my Faith and know he was in control and would keep little man safe. <3
ReplyDeleteI would love to try this for a future baby, lord willing. But would also love to share with either of my sisters who are expecting their own children!
ReplyDeleteWe are having baby number 4... it would be great to have a baby that sleeps well :)
ReplyDeleteThat's a bad pic the baby looks dead.
