I've always, called it a remote. :)
Remote :-) don't think I ever heard clicker
We call it a clicker but it is also called the "tv thingy"
I don't think it's a southern thing. I was raised in PA and my dad says clicker and everyone else in my family says remote. And no he isn't from the south. :-)
Haha!! Here in Maine it is both remote and clicker as well as that thingy mabob...love these videos!!
Clicker? Never heard it called that...
Clicker. I'm from up north!
I've never heard clicker before. I would be interested in hearing if people do call it that though :)
My family lives is Southern California, and we call it both :-)
Remote here in IllinoisRemote here in IowaRemote here in Wisconsin
Remote her in California
Never her it caller flicker and that's a bad word anyway.
Umm... They actually said clicker!
Remote. I'm from Tennessee and have never heard it called a clicker.
Flipper... from NJ
Los Angeles - We call it both.
We call it a remote in Wisconsin.
I call it a remote. It's interesting to learn "sayings from different countries, (provinces/states) and communities. I've been reading and watching a lot from the southern states and laughed when I was proofreading an email, when I was saying youall (although I know that's not the way it's spelled). Canadians get teased about ending a comment with "eh".
Isn't there something else to post? These comparisons are silly.
Yes, let's talk about whether we a fountain drink a soda, a pop, or a coke!!!
Why? As you can tell other people enjoy it and its not all about you.
I'm surprised they even have a name. I thought they didn't own a tv
It's not a requirement to take part in this conversation. You can always wait until a topic comes up that interests you. I'm not being mean. Just offering a simple suggestion. Be blessed!
Kelly is so funny 😂
called it a "clicker" all my life
I've heard the device called a clicker, but my family has always called it a remote ... could that be a New England thing? Like the buggy-shopping cart debate? (We say shopping cart or just cart.) 😊😊😊
My mother always called it "the wand" growing up!
I call it a channel changer or remote. I'm from Kentucky.
Here in Nebraska we call it both...but mainly a clicker in our house.
When we lived in CA it was the remote. Here in AZ it has become the "disappearing thing" because it seems to always get lost. But I just remembered when I was a little girl my dad called it a clicky.
