Run of the Town

"You know what? Riding a super fast horse in that little riding arena is like putting a jet ski in your swimming pool."

-Nathan Bates

On last night's episode of Bringing Up Bates (click here to read our recap), Lawson, Nathan, and Trace took two Dixie Stampede trick riders on a run through town. Check out these video clips.

(For those wondering, the song playing in the background of the second video is "Stronger Than I Thought I was" by Tyler Cain and Kasey Tyndall.)

  1. Is the song available anywhere? While watching the episode,it said iTunes but I checked and it's not there. They don't have anything of Kasey's and it's not listed under Tyler's songs.

    1. Hi Deb,

Unfortunately, some of the songs that appear on the show are not available elsewhere.

    2. Then I guess the thing about it being on iTunes is automatically added for some reason? Shame! Not only do I enjoy seeing the Bates but I have discovered a bunch of new artists.

    3. That's a shame you can't get some of the songs. Love them.

  3. Those horses would not be on a concrete road! It will harm their legs (even with horse shoes.)

    1. Only if you do it an awful lot. Once in a while won't hurt them.

  5. I'm surprised Mr and Mrs Bates allowed the boys to be with that girl. Her pants are very tight and I had to make my brothers leave the room (because of her pants) so I could watch the videos..

    1. The Bates do not seem to be as judgmental of other people's clothing choices.

    2. That is pretty typical horse-riding attire.
