Miracle Baby Carson Reaches 5 Months

In a family of 19 children, there is always a milestone to celebrate. Charles "Carson" Stephen Paine IV--son of Charles "Chad" Stephen Paine III and Erin (Bates) Paine--is five months old today.

Before becoming pregnant with Carson, Erin suffered multiple miscarriages due to a blood clotting disorder. Through medical intervention, she and Chad were blessed with a healthy baby boy on May 14th, 2015.

The Bible verse that the Paines printed on their birth announcements fits their story well:

"For this child I prayed; and the Lord hath given me my petition which I asked of him."
1 Samuel 1:27
